Chairman’s Report – 28 January 2026

  • 1 December 2025 – Attended Flood Resilience meeting at Grasmere
  • 2 December 2025 – Attended South Copeland GDF Meeting
  • 4 December 2025 – Arranged details for Haverigg Park CCTV
  • 6 December 2025 – Attended solicitor meeting with the Mayor to discuss the Salvation Army Project
  • 8 December 2025 – Attended Flood Resilience Group
  • 11 December 2025 – Attended local Police Neighbourhood meeting

Ongoing Work

  • Continuing regular inspections at Haverigg Play Park
  • Working with Proludic on minor issues and feedback regarding sub-contractors
  • Continuing work on the pump track, including obtaining quotations
  • Helped take down the crib
  • Oversaw installation of the container in the park for Millom Bowling Club
  • Overseeing construction of the new pathway within Millom Park
  • Contacted Dog Fouling Officers while they were in Millom and encouraged residents to report problem areas online
