A595 Whicham Valley – Carriageway Resurfacing Remedial Works
Cumberland Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing remedial works on the A595 through Whicham Valley. These works will commence on Monday 7th July 2025 and are expected to last for up to two weeks, subject to weather and site conditions.
Working Hours
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Times: 07:00 – 19:00
Access and Closures
- The works will be carried out under a formal road closure.
- Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists, and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
- Vehicle access for residents and businesses will be maintained when it is safe to do so, but may be temporarily restricted during certain operations.
