Millom Town Council has worked alongside the HMP Working Parties to ensure that the Millom Town War Memorial and Gardens are kept to a high standard. Unfortunately, when weeding these areas, a large number of dog feces were in the flower borders. It is disappointing to find that people are letting their dogs do their business in this area.
This is a place of remembrance and we should all be respectful.
Can all dog owners not allow their dogs to do their business if accidents do happen, please ensure that it is picked up and disposed of properly.
