For those who are concerned about what is happening at the Millom Cenotaph, Millom Town Council would like to inform you that all the rails in the existing seats are being replaced with new woods. This unfortunately will take approximately another 2 weeks before they will be restored.
Haverigg Working Parties have been working hard to ensure that the cenotaph is being kept in a clean and tidy manner. They have planted approximately 25 new roses in the rose beds (replacing dead and damaged ones). New stone chippings have also been laid as weed deterrents in the beds too.
Millom Town Council are committed to keeping this area up to the high standard that it got from the previous group that looked after it and, hopefully, everyone will agree that it is continuing to get the respect it deserves
