    • Public Wi-Fi Terms of Use – Approval is sought for the adoption of Millom Park Public Wi-Fi Policy and Terms of Use to enable the lawful, safe and managed provision of a free public internet service. The policy ensures compliance with data protection, safeguarding and regulatory requirements while supporting digital inclusion and community use of Millom Park.
  13. Correspondence Received for Information: All correspondence for information mostly via Email from Clerk unless within the working papers:
    • Electoral Review of Cumberland – Final Recommendations – emailed out 05.05.26
  14. Planning: To consider and comment upon planning applications notified by Cumberland Planning Authority since last council meeting. Please look at Planning Portal on MTC Website for applications to discuss prior to the meeting: Note: any planning application that has been received after the agenda has been circulated may be discussed at the meeting.

    Planning applications discussed prior to the meeting via email:

    • 4/26/2133/0F1 – Replace existing 2.2-metre-high wooden fence on northern boundary with a 2.3-metre-high brick wall – 10 Castle View, Millom – the council had no objections in principle to this application.

Request for Dispensations

The clerk to report any requests received since the previous meeting for dispensations to speak and/or vote on any matter where a member has a disclosable pecuniary interest.

Declarations of Interest

To receive declarations by elected and co-opted members of interests in respect of items on this agenda. Members are reminded that, in accordance with the revised Code of Conduct, they are required to declare any disclosable pecuniary interests or other registrable interests who have not already been declared in the Council’s Register of Interests. (It is a criminal offence not to declare a disclosable pecuniary interest either in the Register or at the meeting.) Members may, however, also decide, in the interests of clarity and transparency, to declare at this point in the meeting, any such disclosable pecuniary interests whom they have already declared in the Register, as well as any other registrable or other interests. If a member requires advice on any item involving a possible declaration of interest which could affect his/her ability to speak and/or vote, he/she is advised to contact the clerk at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
